The Client: 
HSBC Bank (Banking and Financial Services)
The Challenge:
Produce an engaging testimonial video for HSBC’s collaboration with emerging tech company Tradeshift, showcasing growth benefits. Additionally, I was asked to develop a new visual language system for motion overlays inspired by HSBCs new “Together We Thrive” slogan.
The Process:
To develop a graphic overlay style, I began by looking at HSBC’s iconic logo. By extending the logo’s diagonal contours, I created connective lines to join information and graphics - echoing the connective theme of HSBC’s new “Together we thrive” slogan. All graphics from the map, to transitions and lower thirds where rendered in a diagonal shapes. This foundational, flexible animation style, and my video editing skills allowed me to efficiently produce an impactful social media case study video. Consistently on-brand and highly engaging.
The Results:
The success and positive feedback from working on this project saw a marked increase animation projects from this client.

Not only did I deliver a high-quality sales asset, but I created a flexible style template to expedite the creation of future projects within the “Together we thrive” campaign.
